Colossal Cave: Outlaws And Hidden Treasure!
In the 1880’s, rumor has it that outlaws used the passageways and secret exits in Colossal Cave for quick escapes. Of course, this means that there is hidden treasure still inside the cave!
This place has daily tours that are year-round. They don’t take appointments, but you shouldn’t wait longer than 30 minutes for your Colossal Cave tour guide.
The cave is about 70 degrees year-round, so no need to worry about special clothing or supplies. It is a dry cave with a winding path that will take you down and then back up about 6 1/2 stories. While on your tour, be sure to take lots of great pictures of the beautiful cave formations.
The park also has camping, a butterfly garden, horseback riding, a desert tortoise exhibit and much more.
