Senae Thai Bistro is my favorite new Thai food restaurant in the northern hemisphere!
No newcomer to restaurants, Chef Dee has a philosophy that your meal begins with the eyes. Your experience begins upon entering. The tranquil surrounding sets the mood for an entertaining and relaxed, dare I say pampered, dining experience. The staff are so kind and helpful they seem to be expressly interested in your dining experience. I happen to like the hotter level 4 dishes which makes my servers sweat until I assure them, I can take the heat.
The presentation of the food is lovely, the cocktails are perfect and the selection is diverse. What else could you ask for, Right? Then Dee comes around to ask about your meal experience and you can immediately detect the calm at the help which makes this restaurant really work. Concentrate on the client. Make sure they are happy, everything else will take care of itself. The result is a beautiful dining experience.
Senae also works with the community for resourcing the freshest ingredients. They pair with the University of Arizona Community and School Garden Program. According to Husband and co-owner Jim, they enjoy connecting to the community that they are a part of.
What to Order at Senae Thai Bistro
My personal favorite dishes are the Pad Thai and the spicy green curry in the Kang Pak. The combination of grilled eggplant, zucchini, squash, green beans and red bell peppers in green curry and coconut milk. You also can’t go wrong with the mango sticky rice for dessert! Chef Dee Buzier and her husband opened in July of 2016 at 63 E Congress St Tucson AZ 85701. Find your favorite! Senae, it’s charming!
